Karamea Radio

Karamea Community Radio broadcasts on 107.5FM to the Karamea area. It is located in the grounds of Rongo Backpackers and provides a popular congregation point for guests, whether they are just listening to music or trying their hands at the 'decks'. That's decks in inverted commas, because while we do have turntables, the vast majority of music on the radio is played from our diverse collection of CDs and mp3s as well as those that our guests bring along themselves. The international flavour of the station's music collection is a an accurate reflection of the tastes and nationalities of our guests.
